For anyone who knows my sweet little bug they know her heart is sometimes the biggest thing in the world. Today while we were eating lunch she had her DVD player out and it just happened to be sitting on the floor under her tea cup. (BIG OOPS!!)
She reached for her cup and spilled it all over the place! So of course my first thought was my carpet being stained, so we cleaned it up with a towel and that was that, right?..................WRONG!!
Tonight after returning from my inlaws for dinner, I decided to let Bug watch a video on her DVD player....or so I thought....she came in the living room hysterically crying.....her DVD player was broken....the tea had seaped down into it and it is no longer working (insert sad face). I tried everything to get it to work but the poor thing is dead. She is unbelievably heartbroken, she just keeps walking around saying "I am so disappointed, it was a gift from my mamaw". Her daddy and I have tried to use this as a learning tool to teach her about taking care of her things and not having electronics around anything wet, but now as I listen to her crying my heart is breaking :(
I can't stand to hear her cry because as a mother, I don't think anyone wants to see their child sad or upset. So as I type this up for all to see, my second internet tab is open to various department stores searching rapidly for a new DVD player.......... only to see that precious smile again!!!
